A local Senior Citizens Center provides an outlet for older residents, and in many cases new-found friendships. The Centre County Report has the heartwarming story of two women who say they’ve become friends for life.

A brilliant, sunny day, and the opportunity to help out a good cause drew hundreds of people to 5th Annual Dog Jog, Saturday morning.

PATH serves as guidance for youth who show disruptive behaviors both in the home and in school. Referrals for one of PATH of State College’s three programs can be made by school district administrators, family members or a mental health agency.

What will you do when you retire? That was a question Carol Falke had no answer for when she retired from Penn State. But she soon discovered a fulfilling new “career” helping people in a region far, far different than State College.

While there are plenty of grocery stores in the State College area, the idea behind Friends & Farmers is to offer a one-stop shop that caters to the local community by featuring produce and products from area farmers and producers in the Centre Region, Potter, of State College.
