If you thought you’ve seen the last of David Taylor, Zain Retherford, and Bo Nickal at Penn State, think again.

Penn State had two wrestlers compete in the Saturday morning medal round at the NCAA Championships. The Nittany Lions were 1-2 in the session with Nick Lee finishing strong after taking consecutive losses to place fifth and Roman-Bravo Young dropping his only match to finish eighth.

PITTSBURGH — The semifinals and blood round of the NCAA Championship on Friday night were more of the same for Penn State wrestling. The Nittany Lions went 6-2 in the session and opened up a big lead in the team race.

After a few hiccups on Thursday night, Penn State wrestling returned to full strength on Day Three of the NCAA Championships, going 6-0 in the quarterfinals and keeping one more alive in the consolation bracket. The team is guaranteed to finish with at least six All-Americans.
