Local Hall of Fame chapter announces scholarships

The Board of Directors of the Centre County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has released the names of the winners of its 2022 scholarships.
The winners, a male and female from each of the six county schools, are chosen by the faculties for their athletic abilities, academic accomplishments and good citizenship in the school and community.
Listed below, in alphabetical order by school, are the awardees: n Autumn Tobias, Bald Eagle Area, participated in soccer, softball and unified bocce.
* Carter Stere, BEA, participated in football, soccer, track and basketball.
* Molly McGee, Bellefonte Area High School, participated in lacrosse and volleyball.
* Nick Way, BAHS, participated in football, basketball and track.
* Kyle Niewaski, Penns Valley Area High School, participated in baseball, basketball, soccer and track and field.
* Rayanne Witmer, PVAHS, no information available.
* Kalista Butler, Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School, participated in volleyball and track and field.
* Nick Coudriet, POAHS, participated in wrestling and baseball.
* Kellyn Ruth, State College Area High School, participated in soccer.
* Tony Tsolov, SCAHS, participated in cross country and track and field.
* Natalie Page, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy, participated in soccer, basketball and track and field.
* Sam Yagula, SJCA, participated in soccer.
