Jahmir Joseph gave Penn State football a second cornerback commitment of the past week for its 2025 recruiting class, as the four-star prospect from St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, New Jersey, tabbed the Nittany Lions as his future team on Monday night.

Only a few days removed from his official visit to Penn State, Joseph joins fellow cornerback Daryus Dixson, who verbally committed on June 10. The duo are the only two cornerbacks in Penn State’s 2025 class.

Stanford, Notre Dame and South Carolina were among the highest profile programs in the running to land Joseph, who hits the scales at 6-feet and 185-pounds.

He is ranked the 23rd best corner in the nation, 212th prospect overall and fifth-best recruit in the Garden State, according to the 247 Network.

Penn State’s 2025 class is now 15 members deep and rated the No. 11 class overall nationally, according to 247. It has only five prospects rated at the four-star level, but with evaluations still ongoing and plenty of high school football left to be played, it seems likely more future Nittany Lions will see their stocks rise.
