Penn State football picked up its third four-star commitment to its 2025 recruiting class in the days following the Nittany Lions’ win over Iowa this past weekend. This time it was four-star athlete Brady O’Hara who made his announcement on Tuesday morning.
O’Hara plays defensive end and tight end at Pittsburgh North Catholic and will likely play tight end at Penn State, according to recruiting outlets. The Pittsburgh native selected Penn State over Pitt, Wisconsin, and others.
The 6-foot-6, 235 pound prospect is the fifth member of Penn State’s 2025 class and the first tight end of the group. He is ranked as the No. 18 athlete in the country and the eighth-best player in Pennsylvania, per the 247Sports Composite ratings. So far through his junior season, O’Hara has 12 catches for 248 yards and two touchdown in five games, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
He joins a Nittany Lions’ recruiting class that has established itself as one of the best in the country, making splashes at running back, linebacker, and cornerback. Before O’Hara’s commitment, the group was ranked No. 8 in the country by 247Sports.
O’Hara’s joins a fellow WPIAL prospect in running back Tiqwai Hayes from Aliquippa and New Jersey linebacker CJ McClary as the third addition to Penn State’s 2025 cycle since Sunday.
