Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) is gearing up for its 14th annual Central Cycling Classic.

Cyclists from the area will “pedal for the uninsured” on Saturday, June 25, starting at the Pine Grove Mills VFW, 500 W. Pinegrove Rd.

The event will offer cyclists four routes to choose from, ranging from 18 miles to 102 miles.

“Each year we try to offer our cyclists and supporters the most scenic and enjoyable routes in Central Pennsylvania,” Roger Greene, original committee member of the CCC, said. “For more than a decade, community members have helped raise awareness and financial support for Centre Volunteers in Medicine while enjoying the best that Central PA has to offer cyclists. I am grateful to play a small role in coordinating this event each year on behalf of those being served by CVIM in Centre County.”

CVIM has been providing free, quality healthcare to the medically underserved in Centre County for 19 years and has remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic. CVIM values human dignity and access to quality, compassionate health care for all the uninsured living and working in Centre County.
