Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23

The Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt is hosted by Freedom Life Church from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate on Saturday, March 23. As the sun sets, the football field at the high school will be speckled with thousands of eggs filled with prizes. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be inflatables, games, activities, concessions, an illusionist and more. Admission to the event is free, with children up to fifth grade eligible to participate.

Free Community Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast — Saturday, March 23

Calvary Church in Boalsburg is hosting a free community Easter egg hunt and breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. There will be more than 10,000 eggs hidden, with kids split up into age groups for searching. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance. A free pancake breakfast and children’s activities will start at 8:30, with the egg hunt to follow at 10 a.m.

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt — Saturday, March 23

The Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt hosted by Gearhartville Free Methodist Church will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church in Philipsburg on Saturday, March 23. The event is designed for children ages 3 to 10, with fun activities and stations.

Buffalo Run Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23

Greater Buffalo Run Valley United Methodist Church and the Child Evangelism Fellowship are hosting an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon at the Benner Township Municipal Building in Bellefonte on Saturday, March 23. There will be games and refreshments in addition to the egg hunt.

Runville United Methodist Church is hosting an Easter egg hunt starting at 2 p.m. at the church in Bellefonte on Saturday, March 23. The event is free, and no registration is required.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23

Gregg Township Fire Company is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt at the carnival grounds at 3865 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. There will be prizes, candy and more, including a special appearance from the Eastern Bunny. Admission is free for children.

Skills and Friends Social Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23

Skills and Friends Social Club and Houserville House of Hope are hosting an annual Easter egg hunt at the Houserville United Methodist Church in State College from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. The event is free to attend and people living with disabilities are invited.

Downtown Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23

The Philipsburg Downtown Businesses Easter Egg Hunt is from 1 to 3 p.m. in downtown Philipsburg on Saturday, March 23. The event is open to all ages, and guests are asked to bring their own basket to collect eggs.

Underwater Egg Hunt — Sunday, March 24

The State College YMCA is hosting its Underwater Egg Hunt from noon to 4 p.m. in State College on Sunday, March 24. Children from 6 months to 12 years old are invited to hunt for eggs on the surface and bottom of the pool. Children will be split into groups by age to keep everyone safe. The event is free and open to the public.

Spring Egg Hunt — Sunday, March 24

Penn State Greek Life is hosting its Spring Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at University Park’s Millennium Science Complex Lawn on Sunday, March 24. State College families are invited to enjoy a festive day with activities, games, an egg hunt for children and a sprinkle of Greek hospitality.

Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt — Wednesday, March 27

The Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt will be at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in State College from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. All students from grades six through eight are welcome to come and search in the dark at Millbrook March for eggs filled with prizes from local businesses. Admission is $5 for registered attendees and $8 for unregistered participants.

Centre Library Children’s Egg Hunt — Friday, March 29

Centre County Library and Historical Museum is hosting its Children’s Egg Hunt from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Children’s Garden in Bellefonte on Friday, March 29. Children up to 8 years old are invited to hunt for eggs filled with prizes. The egg hunt will take place in the Bellefonte Library in the event of rain.

Where My Peeps At? —  Saturday, March 30

March 30 marks National Take a Walk Day, and Centre Region Parks and Recreation is celebrating with its Where My Peeps At event from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lederer Park in State College on Saturday, March 30. Colorful Peeps will be hidden throughout the park, each with a letter on it. Take a walk in the park to find all the Peeps and unscramble the letters to reveal the hidden phrase. Email CRPR with the solution to the puzzle, and correct answers will be entered into a drawing for a Peeps-themed prize pack.

Lemont Village Green Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

Centre Pointe Church is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lemont Village Green in Lemont. The Easter egg hunt is a free event.

Easter Egg Hunt at Fairbrook UMC — Saturday, March 30

There will be an Easter egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fairbrook United Methodist Church in Pennsylvania Furnace on Saturday, March 30. Guests are asked to bring baskets or bags and to dress appropriately for rain or sunshine. Easter-themed activities will follow the egg hunt.

Community Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

Guests are invited to the Community Easter Egg Hunt cohosted by Blue Course Community Church and State College Alliance Church at Blue Course Community Church in State College at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30. There will be more than 10,000 eggs, with activities starting 30 minutes prior to each hunt.

Walker Township is hosting its Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. at Walker Township Park on Saturday, March 30. Guests are invited to join in for lots of Easter fun.

Bellefonte Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

The Bellefonte Community Easter Egg Hunt will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte on Saturday, March 30. Sponsored activities will begin at 1, with the egg hunt to begin at 2 p.m. There will be over 15,000 eggs for children under 12 to gather, including in an area for children with special needs. The free event will have three age groups with no registration required.

CCC Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

Christ Community Church is hosting its CCC Easter Egg Hunt from 3 to 5 p.m. at the C3 Sports Complex in State College on Saturday, March 30. There will be over 10,000 eggs, bounce houses, a free Easter Bunny photo booth, a DJ and more.

Port Matilda American Legion Community Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

The Port Matilda American Legion Community Easter Egg Hunt will be at 1 p.m., with registration opening at 11:30 a.m., at the Port Matilda Community Park on Saturday, March 30. Kids will be split into age groups to hunt for eggs, with free lunch provided. There will be special prizes for each age group in addition to a visit from the Easter Bunny, raffle baskets and 50/50 chances.

Snow Shoe Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

There will be an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny hopping around starting at 1 p.m. at Snow Shoe Park on Saturday, March 30. The event, hosted by the Snow Shoe Fire Company, will be for children from newborns through sixth grade.

Woodward Spring Egg-Stravaganza — Saturday, March 30

Camp Woodward is hosting its Woodward Spring Egg-Stravaganza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park in Woodward on Saturday, March 30. All ages are welcome, on and off wheels. There will also be a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, ride access, arts and crafts, prizes and more.

Pleasant Gap Lioness Lions Club Community Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30

The Pleasant Gap Lioness Lions Club Community Easter Egg Hunt starts at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m., at the Pleasant Gap Carnival Grounds on Saturday, March 30. The egg hunt is for kids from ages 1 through 12, with a special-needs egg hunt at noon. There will be special prizes for each age group, visits with the Easter Bunny, raffle prizes and 50/50 chances available.
