Penn State Football: Jaden Dottin Enters Transfer Portal

no description

Penn State’s extremely busy week in the receiver room continued on Wednesday afternoon as redshirt junior Jaden Dottin announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal. “Thank you Penn State and everyone involved with me for everything!” Dottin wrote on Twitter. “I am forever grateful. I am now officially in the transfer portal with three years of eligibility.”

Dottin leaves Penn State having made two career receptions, both this past year during the 2022 campaign for 14 total yards. In total Dottin made appearances in five total games over his three years in State College. As a prospect the 247 Network listed Dottin as a four-star prospect and the third-best recruit out of Connecticut in the 2020 cycle.

Dottin’s announcement comes on the heels of news earlier in the day that Florida State receiver Malik McClain would join the program from the transfer portal. McClain joins fellow transfer and Ken State product Dante Cephas as the second receiver transfer portal entrant to enroll at Penn State. Cephas committed to Penn State just three days ago.

All of this news comes amidst the backdrop of now former Penn State receiver’s coach Taylor Stubblefield being let go by the program on Monday. The receiver’s room will look not only to replace Stubblefield at the helm of the unit but also fill the shoes of outgoing receivers Parker Washington and Mitchell Tinsley.
