Gary L. Shoemaker, 57, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014, in State College. A son of the late Irvin and Marion (Palmer) Shoemaker, Gary was born on July 19, 1956, in Bellefonte.
He attended Bellefonte Area High School and worked at Meridian Apartments in State College.
Gary is survived by three brothers; John and Robert Shoemaker, both of Bellefonte and Larry Gaines of Phoenix, AZ.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2014, from 10-11 am, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA, with the funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 am, with Rev. Frank E. Skies officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
