Penn State Homecoming

One hundred years ago Penn State had its first homecoming game against Dartmouth. The generations may have evolved, but the traditions remain. Penn State now has the largest student-run homecoming organization in the country.

Penn State’s annual Homecoming parade will march through campus and downtown State College starting at 6 p.m. on Friday night. Along with it, there will be a number of street closures and parking changes.

Allen Street Jam took over South Allen Street in State College to kick off Penn State’s 2018 Homecoming week.

State College Area High School teacher Troy Alesi will be the honorary grand marshal for Penn State Homecoming 2018.

Jillian Susi is a leader among the more than 40,000 students who attend Penn State University’s main campus, and is helping organize one of the school’s richest traditions.
