During this program, babies and toddlers (up to 3 years old) will sit with their caregivers and engage in singing songs, saying rhymes, reading short books, and socializing with other families in the community. This program is perfect for lap sitters and those who aren’t quite ready to sit down for a full storytime yet.
Storytime begins with 4-5 books, usually based on a weekly theme. Between books, we will sing songs and get wiggles out before continuing with the program. Storytelling Game Night. Each week there will be a new game being hosted, where players can create characters, worlds, and stories together.In addition, a collection of storytelling games for groups and individuals is kept in the back room; any time it’s unoccupied, this collection is open and free to use in that room.
