The joke about an artist being asked to create a work with the constraint that it must match the living room couch is very real. An artist might also be asked to create a narrow vertical piece when they excel at expansive horizontal pieces. Working outside your comfort zone is always a challenge, but often leads to a eureka moment and discovering a new path with your art. This month our artists are producing work with the constraint that is must be in black and white with only one other color allowed. Come see how our Gallery Shop artists have met the challenge!
