UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State THON 2026 Executive Committee will announce the theme for THON 2026 at the Homecoming Parade through downtown State College on Friday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
This will kick off a year-long journey of hope and resilience, highlighting the mission of the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. Theme Reveal serves to spark passion and excitement about THON to encapsulate the year- long effort of fundraising, volunteering, and support.
Through the Homecoming Parade, students will unite under a common purpose–For The Kids.
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. THON is comprised of over 16,500 Penn State student volunteers who aim to provide emotional and financial support to Four Diamonds families and spread the mission of THON and childhood cancer.
Since its start in 1977, THON has raised over $254 million dollars to support its sole beneficiary, Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
THON 2025 raised a record breaking $17.7 million For The Kids.
