Philipsburg Elks Lodge 1173 recently attended an Eagle Scout Award Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Colby Riefer of Houtzdale Boy Scout Troop 44. The event was held at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge and Country Club. The Philipsburg Elks presented Riefer with a U. S. flag, an Elks Boy Scout Certificate, and a $100 award.
