Police responded to a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Oct. 9 at approximately 4:30 p.m.

on North Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township. According to police, a driver turning left onto the I-80 eastbound on ramp failed to see a southbound vehicle in the right lane. Police stated the turning vehicle struck the southbound vehicle, and debris from the collision hit the windshield of a third vehicle stopped at the I-80 east off-ramp stop sign.  Police said all drivers reported no injuries.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 7 at approximately noon on I-99 North at approximately mile marker 62.7 in Worth Township. According to police, the crash occurred as the operator of the vehicle tried to negotiate a right-hand curve while traveling too fast. Police stated the operator failed to negotiate the curve, left the roadway and struck a guide.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 11 at approximately 3 a.m. on I-80 west at approximately mile marker 158.1 in Boggs Township. According to police, the vehicle crossed a bridge which was icy due to weather conditions and lost traction.  Police stated the vehicle left the roadway, striking a guide rail and proceeding to overturn and go down an embankment. Police said the operator received serious injuries and had to be extracted from the vehicle.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 11 at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Zion Back Road in Walker Township. According to police, the crash occurred when the vehicle failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the roadway and struck a fire hydrant.  Police stated there were no injuries to report.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 6 at approximately 4 p.m. in the area of Buffalo Run Road and Crestview Drive in Benner Township.According to police, unit 1 wasfollowing closely and rear-ended unit 2.  Police stated neither operator sustained any injuries. Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 10 at approximately 5:30 a.m. on I-99 north in the area of exit 78 A, Benner Township. According to police, the crash occurred when unit 1 left the roadway and struck a guide rail followed by an embankment. Police stated the operator was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for possible minor injury. Police said unit 1 was towed by S&R towing.

Police responded to a three vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 10 at approximately 6 a.m. on I-99 south in the area of exit 78 A, Benner Township. According to police, the crash occurred as unit 1 struck unit 2 on the driver’s side. Police stated unit 2 then stuck unit 3 in the rear end as it was parked on the shoulder of the roadway. Police said there were no injuries reported on scene.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 10 at approximately 11 p.m. on I-80 west at approximately mile marker 140.6 in Rush Township. According to police, unit 1 was traveling west bound and struck a ditch. Police stated unit 1 was disabled as a result of the crash.

Police said the operator was determined to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 10 at approximately 5 a.m. on SR 45 west in Haines Township. According to police, the vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

Police stated the vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Nov. 7 at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Benner Pike in College Township. According to police, a 35-year-old Millheim male driving a 2006 Toyota Tacoma was arrested for DUI.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Nov. 11 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on I-80 west at approximately mile marker 158.2 in Boggs Township. According to police, unit 1 had a trailer that began to slide on the roadway causing the operator to lose control.Police stated that unit 1 ultimately jack knifed in the roadway and came to rest after the truck portion hit a guide rail. Police said the trailer of unit 1 was blocking both lanes of the roadway causing extended shut down of I-80.

Police took a report of invasion of privacy on Nov. 7 at approximately 5 p.m. on Paradise Road.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
