Police are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred on Oct. 17 at approximately 5: 30 p.m. on South High Street at West Plank Road in Port Matilda Borough. According to police, the incident involved a white Dodge truck with trailer, large push bar, clearance lights, flat bed, tinted rear windows and rain guards on windows. Police responded to a call of public drunkenness on Oct. 11 at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the 400 block of High Street in Milesburg Borough. According to police, a 39-year-old Centre Hall man was causing a disturbance. Police stated the subject was arrested for public drunkenness.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Oct. 19 at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the 400 lock of Runville Road in Boggs Township. According to police, a 17-year-old Bellefonte male was driving a 2003 Mini Cooper when the vehicle struck an embankment causing the until to roll over. Police stated the operator was trapped inside the vehicle and was later flown from the scene for suspected serious injuries.

Police responded to a single unit crash that occurred on Oct. 11 at approximately 2 a.m. on Skytop Mountain Road in Worth Township. According to police, a 62-year-old Port Matilda man was driving a 2015 Ford F-150 when the operator swerved to miss a deer. Police stated the vehicle hit the crash barrier and then overturned. Police said the operator was flown to Penn Highlands Dubois by STATMedevac.

Police responded to a single unit crash that occurred on Oct. 22 at approximately 8 p.m. on Bull Run Road in Miles Township. According to police, a 44-year-old Blanchard male was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide when the operator failed to negotiate a right turn, striking an embankment. Police stated the unit was towed from the scene.

Police received a call to an assault that occurred on Oct. 23 at approximately 11 a.m. on the 4500 block of Penns Valley Road in Penn Township. The investigation is ongoing.

Police received a report of a welfare check on Oct. 25 at approximately noon on the 700 block of N. Front St. in Rush Township.
According to police, upon arrival police discovered the victim to be deceased. Police stated an arrest was made for this incident for criminal homicide. The case continues pending further investigation.

Police received a call from the Pennsylvania Game Commission in regard to a female being combative on Oct. 25 at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Shiloh Road in Benner Township.
According to police, a 51-year-old State College female struck one of the game wardens.
Police said charges were filed.
