Police conducted a traffic stop on Aug. 8 at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Port Matilda Highway and Country Club Lane in Rush Township. According to police, a 19-year-old Clearfield male was driving a 2021 black Jeep Renegade bearing PA registration for Title 75 violations. Police stated the operator was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said appropriate charges were filed.

Police responded to an attempted homicide on Aug. 24 at approximately 8 a.m. on 1510 E. Presqueisle St. in Philipsburg Borough. According to police, a 21-year-old Brockway man fled the scene and was later stopped by Clearfield PSP on US 322 West in Decatur Township. Police stated the victim was transported to Mount Nittany Hospital and then life flighted to Geisinger in Danville. Police said the Brockway man was taken into custody and arraigned on criminal attempt homicide.

Police initiated a traffic stop on Aug. 12 at approximately 11 a.m. on 1546 I-80 West in Boggs Township. According to police, a 31-year-old Kalamazoo, MI man was in possession of a small amount of cannabis as well as had a concealed pistol in the vehicle without a concealed carry license. Police stated charges were filed.

Police initiated a traffic stop on Sept. 1 at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the 4700 block of North Eagle Valley Road in Howard Township. According to police, a 41-year-old Binghamton, NY man was the passenger of the vehicle and found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis and methamphetamine. Police stated charges were filed.

Police responded to a report to a domestic call on Sept. 11 at approximately 5 p.m. on East Sycamore Street in Snow Shoe Borough. According to police, the incident involved a 14-year-old Snow Shoe male and a 40-year-old Snow Shoe female. Police stated both parties involved were cited with a non-traffic citation.

According to police, a 49-year-old male was driving a 2013 silver Nissan Altima and found to be under the influence. Police stated the operator was arrested for DUI.
