STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW
Police are investigating a theft of lost/mislaid property that occurred on July 18 at approximately 1 a.m. at 604 N. Front Street in Rush Township.
According to police, a 26-year-old Philipsburg male accidently left a $50 lottery voucher in a machine at Snappy’s convenience store and upon returning, the voucher was gone.
Police stated the investigation is ongoing.

Police received a call regarding harassment that occurred on Aug. 14 at approximately 8 a.m. on Meadows Drive and Earlytown Road in Potter Township.
According to police, after a thorough investigation, one individual involved would be charged for one count of harassment.

Police are looking for information concerning a lost wallet that was located at East College Avenue and Nittany Valley Drive on Aug. 15 at approximately 9 p.m.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Aug. 14 at approximately 3 p.m. on I-80 East at mile marker 167 in Marion Township.
According to police, a 30-year-old Pittsburg male was driving a 2023 Jeep Cherokee when a 65-year-old Greensboro male driving a 2014 Peterbilt struck the Jeep in the rear.
Police stated the Jeep lost control and struck a guide rail on the left side of the roadway.
Police said the driver of the Peterbilt was cited.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Aug. 16 at approximately 11 a.m. on 875 N. Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township.
According to police, a 65-year-old Perrysburg male was driving a 2021 Freightliner when it was struck on the front passenger side by a 42-year-old Trout Run male driving a 2008 Mazda 3.
Police stated the driver of the Mazda fled the scene and was later located.
Police said the driver of the Mazda was determined to be under the influence and was also driving on a suspended license related to DUI charges.
Police stated the driver of the Mazda was taken into custody.

Police responded to a single unit crash that occurred on Aug. 15 at approximately 9 p.m. on Purdue Mountain Road in Benner Township.
According to police, a 74-year-old Fleming female was driving a 2016 Kia Sportage when it struck an embankment and overturned onto the driver’s side.
Police stated the driver suffer minor injuries and had to be extricated by Bellefonte Volunteer Fire Department and Undine Volunteer Fire Department.

Police are investigating a theft by deception that occurred on July 21 at approximately 11 a.m. on 110 Benner Circle in Benner Township.
According to police, a report where fraudulent checks were cashed in the business’ name totally $10,000.
