STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Aug. 8, at approximately 10 a.m. on Nittany Valley Drive at Dunkle Road in Walker Township.
According to police, a 17-year-old Howard male was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox when he struck the rear end of a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer driven by a 50-year-old Bellwood female.
Police stated the Chevrolet was towed from the scene.

Police conducted a traffic stop on July 18, at approximately 10 a.m. at North Atherton Street in Patton Township.
According to police, a 29-year-old Altoona male was driving a Jeep Renegade with active traffic warrants in Centre County.
Police stated while being taken into custody, the operator was found in possession of a cannabis vape.

Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Aug. 5 at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the Benner Pike in Benner Township.
According to police, a 19-year-old Centre Hall male was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 and failed to observe vehicles in front of him stopped near the Dunkin’ Donuts entrance/exit.
Police stated the driver of a Ford struck and made initial impact with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, causing a chain reaction with two other units.
Police said there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Police responded to a single-unit crash that occurred on Aug. 8 at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Polecat Road at Boal Gap Run in Potter Township.
According to police, an 18-year-old Spring Mills female was driving a 2012 Mazda 3 when she veered off the left side of the road, struck a guard rail and overturned onto the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Police stated that after the crash, the driver fled the scene with a friend. Police said the driver was later interviewed and charged with numerous violations.

Police responded to a crash that occurred on Aug. 4 at approximately 12:30 p.m. at Lower Brush Valley Road in Potter Township.
According to police, a 28-year-old Spring Mills female was driving a 2018 Ford F-150, attempted to pass a 74-year-old State College female on a bicycle, but failed to give enough space and struck the bicyclist.
Police stated the bicyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported via life-flight helicopter to Williamsport Hospital.
Police said the driver of the Ford was cited as a result of the crash.

Police responded to a call of disorderly conduct on Aug. 10 at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Kim Avenue in Walker Township.
According to police, the altercation involved a 38-year-old Mingoville male and a 35-year-old Mingoville male.
Police stated a non-traffic citation was issued.

Police responded to a call of criminal trespass on Aug. 9 at approximately 2 p.m. on West North Street and Pine Street in Haines Township.
According to police, the incident involved a 70-year-old Aaronsburg male and a 54-year-old Spring Mills male.
Police stated a non-traffic citation was filed for trespass.

Police received a report of criminal mischief that occurred on Aug. 2 at approximately 6 p.m. on East Park Avenue and Sixth Street Extension in Snow Shoe Borough.
According to police, a 23-year-old Bellefonte male advised his lug nuts had been removed from a 2016 Volkswagen.

Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle on Aug. 11 at approximately 9 a.m. on the roadway on State Route 144 in the area of 730 E. Sycamore Road in Snow Shoe Township.
According to police, a 73-year-old Snow Shoe male was crossing the roadway when a 47-year-old Snow Shoe male driving a 2016 Hyundai Accent stuck the pedestrian head-on.
Police stated the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
