STATE COLLEGE — Arize Federal Credit Union was recently recognized in two major publications, Forbes and Fortune magazines, for being one of Pennsylvania’s leading credit unions based on its impact.
According to the credit union, Arize’s mission is to help its members and communities reach full potential, making the company stand out for personalized lending, local roots and a commitment to grassroots community support.
“We’re not just here to process loans; we’re here to believe in people,” Michael Meier, president and CEO of Arize, said. “From helping someone consolidate debt to funding a small business expansion that a traditional bank might pass over — our focus is on people, not profits.”
The article featured in Forbes and Fortune magazines highlighted the company’s dedication to helping small businesses secure financing in places large lenders tend to overlook, Arize’s “people first” lending model and the no-cost community spaces the branch locations offer to support local groups.
“Since 1978, Arize has supported Central Pennsylvania through competitive loan rates, personalized service and community programs — including free meeting space for local organizations and outreach efforts for underserved populations,” the credit union remarked in a news release.
Arize is a nonprofit financial cooperative that serves central Pennsylvania, focusing on financial empowerment and strengthening communities.
“We have members walk-in after being told ‘no’ everywhere else. When we say ‘yes,’ it’s life-changing. That’s the power of local decision-making,” Christa Hosterman, Arize’s marketing director, shared.
