—Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer set career highs for himself in almost every category against Indiana. His 22 completions, 31 attempts, and 219 yards were all career highs. His 43-yard pass to Trebor Pena in the second quarter was also a career high, and he also threw his second career touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

—Running back Nicholas Singleton had 71 yards rushing, 22 receiving and 50 yards in kick returns for a total of 143 all-purpose yards. He scored three touchdowns, which upped his total to 51, just two behind Saquon Barkley. 

—Pena finished with six catches for 99 yards, including catches of 43, 21 and 20 yards. 

—Tight end Khalil Dinkins had 4 receptions for 40 yards including a 23 yarder, while WR Koby Howard had two catches for 28 yards including one for 22 yards. In all, Penn State had six receptions for 20-yards or more in the game.

—Pena also had over 100 all-purpose yards with 115–99 in receiving and 16 in punt returns.

—Dani Dennis-Sutton, Zane Durant and Daryus Dixson all had one sack in the game for a total of 17 yards in losses, and the Lions as a team had eight tackles for losses. The Lions also had six quarterback hurries and four breakups.

—Penn State had two turnovers, but the Lions scored 17-unanswered points in the second half to take a 24-20 lead late in the fourth quarter. 

—Penn State outgained Indiana, 336 to 326.

—Penn State has not lost six straight games by a total of 30 points–5 points per game. Not counting OSU, the Lions lost five games by a total of 16 points. 

—In the six losses, opposing quarterbacks have run 43 times for a total of 326 yards.

—Michigan State and Penn State have almost the exact record going into Saturday’s game: 3-6 overall and 0-6 in the Big Ten.
