—Penn State’s second-quarter touchdown after a 75-yard, 15-play drive was the first touchdown given up in the first half by Ohio State this season.
—Ethan Grunkemeyer had his best game as a Lion with 19 completions for 145 yards, both season highs. Grunkemeyer is now 42-for-67 for 343 yards and a touchdown this season. He has thrown three interceptions.
—Kaytron Allen has scored in every game this year, and he scored his 34th career touchdown with a 1-yard run in the second quarter. Allen is creeping up on Penn State’s All Time lists, and he just went over the 4000-yard mark in all-purpose yards.
–Nicholas Singleton now has 5088 all-purpose yards and is second in the record books after passing Larry Johnson on Saturday,
—Penn State’s 10th takeaway of the season set up a second-quarter touchdown. Dani Dennis-Sutton forced a fumble that was recovered by Chaz Coleman and returned to the OSU 14-yard line. It was Dennis-Sutton’s seventh career forced fumble, and it was Coleman’s second fumble recovery this season.
—For the season so far, Allen and Singleton have combined to gain 980 yards and score 17 touchdowns. Allen’s longest run is 67 yards and he is averaging 86 yards per game.
—Four Penn State receivers are over 200 yards in receptions—Devonte Ross, Kyron Hudson, Trebor Pena and Luke Reynolds. The four have combined for six touchdowns.
—After Indiana on Saturday, two of Penn State’s three remaining games are away–at Michigan State and at Rutgers. Nebraska will be here for Senior Day on Nov. 22.
