–Penn State has outscored its opponents 74-14 in the second half so far this season.
–Penn State had an almost perfectly balanced offense against Villanova on Sept. 12 with 228 passing yards and 237 rushing yards.
–The Villanova win was quarterback Drew Allar’s 26th win as the starting quarterback and he also completed his 57th career touchdown pass.
–QB Ethan Grunkemeyer completed his first career touchdown pass, a 19-yarder to TE Joey Schlaffer in the fourth quarter. It was also Schlaffer’s first TD catch.
–Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen combined to run for 170 yards and three touchdowns in the VU game. Singleton now has 37 career touchdowns, and Allen has 27.
–Elliot Washington II and Jahmir Joseph both had interceptions in the VU game, and Penn State now has seven takeaways this season. Joseph returned his interception for a touchdown, the first one for PSU this season.
–Kicker Ryan Barker was 3-for-3 on field goals of 45 yards, 28 yards and 42 yards.
–Penn State is now 7-3-1 against Villanova.
–The Oregon Duck offense is averaging over 50 points per game and over 520 yards per game in four wins this season.
–Oregon has four interceptions, a fumble recovery, seven sacks and the Ducks have not given up a touchdown pass yet this season.
–The Ducks are also 20-for-20 in Red Zone scoring which includes 16 touchdowns.
–Since 2021, Oregon has an 11-9 record against ranked teams including wins over Ohio State, Boise State and Penn State in 2024.
