Free Thanksgiving Dinner
Bellefonte Knights of Columbus will be hosting a free Thanksgiving Dinner to the public on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our hall, 315 Stoney Batter, Bellefonte, (up the hill from Dollar General). The menu will include roasted turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, green beans, sweet potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pie. Eat-in and take-out available. Take-Outs are limited to six per patron.Those taking out three or more meals are asked to bring a box to carry their meals. We will be collecting Toys for Tots at Thanksgiving this year. Boalsburg Turkey Trot
These 2-mile, 5K,and 8K courses begin and end at the Pennsylvania Military Museum. It winds along the bike paths and neighborhoods around the Mount Nittany Elementary and Middle Schools as well as Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy. Prizes given to top three overall, top three male, top three female, and age group winners. The races start at 9 a.m. at Pennsylvania Military Museum, 51 Boal Ave., Boalsburg. Early Packet Pickup and Registration will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy, 901 Boalsburg Pike in Boalsburg from 2 to 6 p.m. Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration will be held at the Military Museum from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Free Thanksgiving Dinner
Christ Community Church in State College is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner to the public from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The church is located at 200 Ellis Place, State College. A sit-down homemade meal will be served to those in need or seeking togetherness. First-come, first-served – quantities are limited). No take-out meals and no reservations required.
Karaoke Night
Philipsburg Revitalization Corp/Main Street will host Karaoke Night from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Holiday Sights and Lights
The 2025 Holiday Sights and Lights celebration held from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30 features several large holiday light displays, holiday decorations, discounted tour ticket prices and discounted gift shop purchases. Sip hot chocolate or hot cider in our cafe, shop for wonderful holiday gifts in our large gift shop or just stroll through our festive setting! Bring the whole family and immerse yourself in heartwarming holiday fun! Presented by Happy Valley Adventurer’s Bureau.

Home for the Holidays Event
Milesburg United Methodist Church, 301 Turnpike St., Milesburg will host a Home for the Holidays event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Light refreshments, bake and craft sales, Jingle Bell Bargains.
Santa Visits Bellefonte
Santa Claus will arrive at Historic Bellefonte, Inc.’s Santa House on the Diamond at 1 p.m. Seasonal music by Bellefonte Community Band will begin at 12:30 p.m. Santa will see children until 4 p.m. and then begin his regular hours 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 21. During Victorian Christmas, Dec. 13-14, Santa’s hours will be noon to 4 p.m.
Small Business Saturday
The Downtown team will be downtown with its spinning wheel, giving away hundreds of dollars in downtown gift cards. Celebrate the start of the holiday season and connect with downtown visitors. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season with fun, prizes, and a whole lot of local cheer. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Corner Room. Venture downtown to support your local small businesses. Make a day of it, shop and dine local by patronizing the small, brick and mortar businesses that make our downtown special…this day and every day!
Natural Ornaments
Join this program at Black Moshannon State Park, 4216 Beaver Rd., Philispburg, from 1 to 3 p.m. to make ornaments out of natural materials. Make a pinecone deer, paint animal-themed tree cookies, and make a colorful pinecone. Several other crafts will be made. This program will be held indoors. Limited to 15 people; pre-registration is required.
Downtown Bellefonte Tree Lighting
Celebrate a small town holiday season from 6 to 8 p.m. with the Downtown Bellefonte Tree Lighting, as a part of Small Business Saturday. Throughout the day, show your support for downtown Bellefonte businesses on Small Business Saturday. Wrap up the day by ringing in the holiday season with a community tree lighting at the gazebo in Talleyrand Park. Festivities include a welcome with Mayor Johnson, music from Bellefonte Area Band ensemble and a carol singalong, a reading of Night Before Christmas and mulled cider with Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association, as well as a hot chocolate and tree decoration station thanks to the Bellefonte Cemetery Association.

Chess Club
Join the Chess Club for beginners or experienced players. There will be an instructor available at Holt Memorial Library, 17 N. Front St., Philipsburg from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to teach and assist anyone that would like to learn how to play Chess. There is no need to register, just drop in.
