CENTRE HALL — The Centre Hall Fire Company celebrated its 150th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 4 with a parade and festival. This was the first parade held in the community in ten years.
The parade stepped off at noon and featured veterans organizations, marching bands, floats, twirling units, civic organization and numerous fire/emergency apparatus.
The parade was followed by a festival at the fire station on Witmer Avenue. There were games, food, raffles and gifts for the kids. The day concluded with a fireworks display.
