WINGATE — Bald Eagle Area High School volleyball looked for a win over Hollidaysburg Areas High School on their Senior Night festivities held Monday night.
But the Eagles could not repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
BEA started out hot, winning the the first set 25-11, but the Lady Tigers claimed the next three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-18 and 26-24) in a 3-1 victory over BEA.
BEA’s record dropped down to 21-6-2. As for Hollidaysburg, the victory — which was their 17th in a row — raised their record to 18-1.
The Lady Tigers received 12 service points from Delayni Baird and 11 by Jessica Becker.
BEA’s jayvee squad won their match in three sets, 25-20, 15-25 and 15-11.
