Penn State football’s upcoming matchup with Villanova will kick off at noon on Sept. 25 and air on the Big Ten Network. The conference announced a handful of kick times and TV designations across the league on Monday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions will enter the contest coming off a primetime meeting against Auburn this upcoming weekend.

Penn State is 4-1-1 all-time against Villanova with the teams’ last matchup coming in the form of a 27-6 Wildcats win way back in 1946.

So far, Penn State football is 2-0 on the season following big wins over then-No. 12 Wisconsin and unranked Ball State. The Nittany Lions are at home for four-straight weekends in September in early October before traveling to Iowa, currently ranked No. 5 in the nation, on Oct. 9.

Penn State’s 2-0 start has so far been a solid bounce-back performance after the Nittany Lion started the 2020 season 0-5, finishing the year 4-5.
