Eight now former Nittany Lions will take a big step toward realizing their NFL dreams this week as the NFL Scouting Combine gets underway in Indianapolis.
Penn State’s eight player representation ties Michigan for the most in the Big Ten this year as the Nittany Lions look to have a solid upcoming NFL Draft. Eight players matches a program high since 2018.
This year, safety Jaquan Brisker, cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields, receiver Jahan Dotson, defensive end Arnold Ebiketie, defensive end/linebacker Jesse Luketa, linebacker Brandon Smith, punter Jordan Stout, and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker are all expected to take part in drills and interviews this week.
Dotson, Ebiketie and Brisker are Penn State’s most probable high draft choices with Dotson in particular with maybe the highest chance to go in the opening two rounds although both Ebiketie and Brisker have a chance to do so as well.
While interviews and off-field work has already begun this week, Thursday marks the opening day of on-field workouts every day until Sunday evening.
