The Topgolf Live Stadium Tour is headed to Beaver Stadium from June 2-5, according to an announcement on Wednesday. Fans will have an opportunity to experience Topgolf from the historic home of Penn State Football.

“Players will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience to tee it up inside historic Beaver Stadium and hit golf balls at on-field targets placed between 60 and 140 yards from the tee box,” according to a news release. “Toptracer technology accurately traces the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot in an interactive, in-stadium game designed for all skill levels.”

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 7 with a pre-sale for select groups Tuesday, April 5. Tee times are reserved in one-hour increments. Tickets are being sold exclusively online at GoPSUsports.com/topgolflive.

Tee times are reserved in one-hour increments with six players to a bay. With the initial on sale date, only full bay reservations will be made available.

The per golfer pricing for the Topgolf Live Stadium Tour at Beaver Stadium is as follows:
$40 for Penn State student hours*
$80 for non-peak hours*
$90 for peak hours*
$10 for spectator tickets
$185 for Unrivaled Experience Package

Parking is included in the pricing.

The Unrivaled Experience Package includes access to a stadium tour, a complimentary Penn State White Course greens fee, two drink tickets, a Topgolf Live hat, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a game play $10 voucher, redeemable at any U.S. Topgolf location except Topgolf Las Vegas.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase in the Mount Nittany Club during Topgolf Live.

Golf clubs will be provided to players. No outside clubs and golf balls will be permitted.

Each bay has a six-golfer capacity. Golfers will be paired with golfers not in their party, if a group does not purchase all six bay tickets in a time slot.

Bringing non-Penn State football events to Beaver Stadium was named as a goal of the Happy Valley Sports and Entertainment Commission, formed by the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau in November.

At a press conference announcing the commission, vice chair and Penn State Deputy Athletic Director Scott Sidwell said discussions had already been underway with bringing the Topgolf stadium tour to State College.

Beaver Stadium “sits right at the center” of potential new opportunities for entertainment and tourism, Sidwell said at the time. The venue has in recent years slowly branched out from solely being the home of Penn State football. In 2017, the Happy Valley Jam was the first major concert event in the stadium’s history, while in 2019 State College hosted Cumberland Valley for just the second high school football game ever played there. In May, the stadium hosted Penn State commencement for the first time in decades.

“We’re actively pursuing, planning, trying to get ourselves in position to attract a big name to come to Beaver Stadium to have a concert,” Sidwell said.
