Joe and Sue Paterno drop in on 'Paternoville'
Friday, October 26, 2007

Joe and Sue Paterno made a surprise visit to the "Paternoville" student encampment outside Penn State's Beaver Stadium Thursday. The legendary Nittany Lion head coach and his wife delivered pizzas and thanked the enthusiastic Penn State students who have had more than 100 tents on site since Monday night despite cool and rainy conditions in State College. The "Paternoville" site reached full capacity by early Tuesday as students gathered in anticipation of Saturday's clash between the No. 22 ranked Nittany Lions and No. 1 ranked Ohio State. The game, just the second ever visit by a No. 1 ranked team to Beaver Stadium, kicks off at 8:00 p.m. Saturday and will air on ABC.
