Penn State Athletics on Wednesday revealed ticketing info for the first Nittany Lion men’s hockey game at Beaver Stadium in January.

The Nittany Lions are scheduled to meet defending Big Ten champion Michigan State on Jan. 31 in the 106,000-seat football stadium as part of a doubleheader, with the Penn State women’s team taking on Robert Morris the same day.

Tickets starting as low as $28 for the men’s game will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 15, while presales for select groups will take place on Oct. 14. (How ticketing will work for the women’s game was unclear, and an athletic department spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for information.)

Men’s hockey season ticket holders have the game already included in their packages, but will need to select their seats between Oct. 7-12. They also will be eligible to purchase additional tickets during the Oct. 14 presale.

Penn State football season ticket holders and Nittany Lion Club members will get access to the presale as well.

Students with men’s hockey season tickets have the game included in their packages and do not need to take any action. For all other students, a lottery system for $24 tickets will be used, with the window open from 8 a.m. Oct. 6 to 11:59 p.m. Oct. 10. Students who are not selected in the lottery will have their money fully refunded.

A seating chart released by the university on Wednesday shows upper north and south end at the lowest price for $28. From there, tickets range from $37 on the lower north and south ends to $78 for Mount Nittany Club seats. Among other options, lower center ice tickets are $60.
