Terry Smith has struck again.
Penn State’s cornerbacks coach secured a commitment from four-star Kei’Shjuan Telfair, who becomes the fourth cornerback in the Nittany Lions’ 2027 recruiting class. Telfair is the highest-rated of the bunch, ranked as the No. 4 recruit out of Ohio, No. 12 cornerback and No. 93 overall prospect in the class, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Telfair brings a smaller frame at 6-foot, 160 pounds, but his on-field play earned him respect among recruiting outlets and top programs. Telfair held offers from a number of top schools, including Clemson and Miami where he scheduled official visits. Telfair also held offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, USC, Notre Dame and many more.
The Euclid High School junior became the second recruit to commit to Penn State on Sunday and the fourth in a three-day span. He’s the 11th and highest-rated commit in the group, which now ranks No. 6 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten, per the 247Sports composite.
