Three-star offensive tackle Owen Aliciene has committed to Penn State football, he announced Sunday. Aliciene is the eighth commitment to the Nittany Lions so far this cycle and the first offensive lineman of Penn State’s haul so far in the 2025 class.

From Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut, Aliciene is ranked the sixth-best player in his home state and the No. 43 offensive tackle in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He stands as the lowest-rated commit the Nittany Lions have picked up to date, behind three-star quarterback Bekkem Kritza of Colorado.

Standing at 6-foot-7 and 247 pounds, Aliciene is the eighth member of a class which entered the day ranked No. 8 in the nation before popping up one spot to No. 7 in the nation, only trailing Ohio State in the Big Ten still very early in the cycle.

Aliciene selected Penn State over the likes of Michigan State, Duke, Maryland, and others.
