Penn State Cornerback Jalen Kimber Declares for NFL Draft

Penn State football cornerback Jalen Kimber has declared for the NFL Draft, he announced on Sunday. Kimber recorded 37 tackles and two pass breakups while starting in 15 of 16 games during his lone season with the Nittany Lions.

“To Penn State University and Nittany Nation, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for welcoming me with open arms,” Kimber wrote. This has been a one of a kind experience that I will forever cherish.”

Kimber started his collegiate career at Georgia in 2020 and appeared in three games before transferring to Florida in 2022 where he played in 25 games, making 11 starts over two seasons. Kimber hit the portal again and committed to Lousiville before flipping his commitment to Penn State in January 2024.

The redshirt senior will forgo his final year to become the third Nittany Lion to declare for the draft, joining KJ Winston and Abdul Carter.
