There’s been a last-minute update to Penn State’s Saturday schedule.
Due to impending weather, the Nittany Lions have adjusted the timeline for Blue-White weekend, including moving up the start time of the Blue-White Practice. The event is now slated to kick off at 12:15 p.m. as opposed to the originally scheduled 1 p.m.
Rain is in the forecast throughout the morning and afternoon on Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s, according to AccuWeather.
Parking lots are still scheduled to open at 8 a.m., while the equipment sale at Pegula Ice Arena and the Beaver Stadium block party are still slated for 9 a.m. start times. Photos with the Nittany Lion mascot, cheerleaders and Lionettes Dance Team have been moved up slightly, running from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., a 15-minute adjustment.
Despite the practice taking place earlier, the team arrival will be an hour later, taking place at 11:45 a.m. instead of 10:45 a.m., right before they take the field. Autograph sessions with the wrestling team and women’s hockey team remain scheduled for 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m., though autographs with the football players has been moved to after the practice instead of before.
