Penn State has continued its recent success in recruiting a major position of need.

Four-star wide receiver Koby Howard, a native of Hollywood, Florida, announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions’ 2025 class on Sunday.

Howard joins four-star Jeff Exinor Jr. and three-star Lyrick Samuel as the third receiver to commit to the program this recruiting cycle.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Howard chose Penn State over finalists Florida State, Florida and Ole Miss.

Howard attends Florida’s Chaminade-Madonna Prep, the same high school James Franklin recruited wide receiver John Dunmore from in 2019.

The Nittany Lions have recruited exceptionally well in Florida for the 2025 cycle, now up to four commitments from the Sunshine State: Howard, quarterback Bekkem Kritza, safety Antonio Branch Jr. and defensive tackle Randy Adirika.

Penn State’s 2025 class now sits at 23 members and projects to rank within the top 15 nationally by 247Sports after Howard’s commitment.
