Wayne Crawford, 43, of Wellsville, is charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft, police said. They said the charges stem specifically from four burglaries committed Feb. 17 and Feb. 18: the theft of tools and cash worth $10,000 to $12,000 from Struble’s Garage; the theft of tools worth $2,379 from Jabco-Maggi Service Center; the theft of wiring harnesses worth $8,000 from Valley Truck and Trailer; and the theft of copper wire from Centre Concrete.
Crawford was arraigned before District Judge Leslie Dutchcot and jailed in the Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting $100,000 bail, police said. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 4.
