Movies

Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin star in “Labor Day,” in which a depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride. As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited. Showing at the UEC 12 Theater.

Saturday, Feb. 1

Computer Painting on Touch Screens with Mary Vollero 10 a.m. – noon at Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County. Mary teaches Art at Penn State University. She earned a master’s degree in Fine Art at Penn State in Printmaking. 

Sunday, Feb. 2

State High Voices – Come hear these wonderful soloists and State High Chamber Singers performing musical theatre and classical music selections while supporting fundraising for the State High Thespians American High School Theatre. Starts at 2 p.m. at University Baptist & Brethren Church
