Penn State football players met with “Make-A-Wish” families on Saturday at the Lasch Football Building to make some Four Diamonds children’s dreams come true.
All children were given a Penn State football buddy. Parents and kids visited the locker room, workout facilities, and head coach Joe Paterno’s office.
Children tried on the football players’ pads and helmets, used the equipment, and took pictures in front of the team’s football trophies. Some families collected football player autographs.
Following the event the families were shown a Penn State recruit video and given the opportunity to re-explore the facilities.
