UPDATED @ 1:48 p.m. Thursday: The 2010 State College Area High School Homecoming Parade, scheduled for Thursday evening, has been postponed due to the inclement weather, according to a borough announcement.
The parade has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 6, according to the school district.
State High’s Homecoming football game against Harrisburg, meanwhile, remains scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday — tomorrow — at Memorial Field, according to a district announcement. The game will feature the school’s Alumni Band; the Homecoming Court procession; and, at halftime, the crowning of the Homecoming king and queen.
The school’s Homecoming dance has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Mount Nittany Middle School.

Traffic in parts of State College borough will be restricted Thursday evening for the State College Area High School Homecoming Parade.
The parade is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the high school, 650 Westerly Parkway. It will travel east on the parkway to Allen Street, where it will turn north.
Per tradition, the parade will end at Memorial Field, off Nittany Avenue.
Traffic in the area is expected to be affected for several hours starting about 5 p.m., according to borough notices. Motorists should expect delays.
