If you still haven’t been able to part with the Christmas season, spend a little extra time today trying to pry yourself away from it and look towards next year.
It is the last week for Christmas tree collection by the Public Works Department, running through Friday, January 19.
Trees will be chipped and made into mulch, and residents are asked to be sure the trees are free from lights, ornaments, tree stands, tinsel, and other trimmings so as to not destroy the machines.
Trees should be placed at the curb with butt-end facing the street.
After January 19, residents will need to call 234-7135.
