Thomas Rhett to Bring 2023 Tour to Bryce Jordan Center

Country music star Thomas Rhett is taking his upcoming tour to Happy Valley next year.

The five-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is bringing his “Home Team” tour to the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023. Doors will open at 6 p.m. ahead of the 7:30 p.m. concert.

Country stars Cole Swindell and Nate Smith will join Rhett when he performs in Centre County. Rhett’s upcoming tour will celebrate the release of his 2022 studio album, “Where We Started.”

“Being on the road is one of my favorite places to be,” Rhett said in a statement. “I can’t wait to see the joy on y’alls faces next year and with my buddies Cole Swindell and Nate Smith. We’re definitely gonna have a good time.”

Both general public and student ticket sales for Rhett’s concert at Penn State will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. Prices will range from $29.50 to $109.50, according to the Bryce Jordan Center’s event page.

Rhett’s upcoming tour will visit 40 American and Canadian cities next year. A concert in Wilkes Barre on Friday, July 7, will mark the tour’s only other Pennsylvania concert.

Rhett last performed at the Bryce Jordan Center in 2018 to the tune of a 17-track setlist.

Following Thursday’s tour announcement, Rhett now joins a packed slate of upcoming Bryce Jordan Center acts, including 2023 shows by Carrie UnderwoodBruce Springsteen and Journey.
