There’s been a changing of the guard at StateCollege.com. My name is Steve Bauer and I’m the newly-appointed Managing Editor and Chief Content Officer. Like so many of you, I’m a Penn State graduate who never really left town. My journalism career has taken me all over the country but I always tell people that State College is home. And it’s good to be back home.
So the guy in charge has changed but not our commitment to make StateCollege.com your most trusted source for news, entertainment and community information. I’ve always thought State College is something of a throwback. It’s a place where people know each other, smile and say hello when they pass on the street. That doesn’t happen in many towns anymore. I hope when we pass in the street you’ll stop and say hello. I want to hear what you think.
