As the 2010 general-election season enters its home stretch, StateCollege.com has introduced a new politics page to help inform and guide voters.
The new section, found under the Community menu at the top of the site, includes profiles of three key local races: the race for the Fifth Congressional District seat in Pennsylvania, the race for the 34th District seat in the state Senate, and the race for the 77th District seat in the state House.
We’ve also built in a feature that allows voters to submit questions that they would like to pose to the nominees in those races. We’ll pick the top questions and ask the candidates to answer them before election day arrives Nov. 2. Watch for follow-up posts on that front.
In addition, local voters can use the politics page to find information about their respective polling places. The page also serves as a hub for all the most recent StateCollege.com political coverage.
