Friday, March 2

Movies

In ‘Project X,’ three high-school seniors throw a party to make a name for themselves. But things spiral out of control as word of the party spreads. This movie is playing at the College 9 Theatre and the UEC 12 Theater.

In ‘Good Deeds,’ businessman Wesley Deeds is jolted out of his scripted life when he meets Lindsey, a single mother who works on a cleaning crew in his office building. This movie is playing at the UEC 12 Theater.

The State Theatre is showing ‘Albert Nobbs,’ in which Glenn Close plays a woman passing as a man in order to survive in 19th-century Ireland.

Bars and Clubs

The Autoport will host happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.

Biscuit Jam will play the Red Horse Tavern in Pleasant Gap starting at 9 p.m.

At Bar Bleu, happy hour will run from 10 p.m. to midnight.

And at the Gingerbread Man, DJ Boner will entertain starting at 10 p.m.

Community Events

The Green Drake Gallery and Arts Center in Millheim will host a First Friday event with live music and art; it’ll run from 6 to 9 p.m.

Sports

The Penn State women’s gymnastics team will face Michigan, North Carolina and Centenary starting at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.

Saturday, March 3

Community Events and Sports

The Nittany Gymnastics Team Spring Invitational is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at C3 Sports

The Penn State men’s volleyball team will take on Ohio State at 7 p.m. at Rec Hall.

Sunday, March 4

Sports

The Penn State men’s basketball team will take on Michigan, and the Penn State women’s lacrosse team will face Virginia, both at 1 p.m. Event details are posted via this event page.
