Friday, March 16
Movies
In ’21 Jump Street,’ two underachieving cops are sent back to high school to blend in and break up a synthetic-drug ring. This movie is playing at the College 9 Theatre and the UEC 12 Theater.
In ‘Wanderlust,’ a Manhattan couple is rattled by sudden unemployment and decides to experiment with living on a rural commune. This movie is playing at the UEC 12 Theater.

Bars and Clubs
The Autoport will host happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. John and Chad will play at 8 p.m.
At Bar Bleu, happy hour will run from 10 p.m. to midnight. Lowjack will play starting at 10:30 p.m.
And at the Gingerbread Man, DJ Boner will entertain starting at 10 p.m.

Community Events and Performing Arts
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will play at 7:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium.
John Hodgman, most well known for his appearances on ‘The Daily Show,’ will appear at the State Theatre at 8 p.m. (Hodgman also is an author and has appeared as ‘the PC’ in recent Apple commercials.)
A comedy night featuring Mike Eagan is set for 9 p.m. at Celebration Hall.
Saturday, March 17
Community Events and Performing Arts
Biscuit Jam will play with Paul Amato and Steve Mattes starting at 4 p.m. at Zeno’s.
The State Theatre will host a concert by Steve Earle at 8 p.m.
Callanish will bring a concert and Celtic-themed arts and demonstrations to the State Theatre at 1 p.m.
Sports
The Penn State men’s and women’s gymnastics teams and the Penn State men’s lacrosse team will play Saturday. Details are available through this event page.
Sunday, March 18
Community Events and Performing Arts
Ballet Magnificat will present ‘Deliver Us’ and ‘The Arrival’ at 4 p.m. at the State Theatre.
