The financially-strapped State College Elks, which operates a lodge and 18-hole golf course, is on the verge of being sold to those who own the Ramada in State College.
Details of the sale are still being finalized, according to an email sent to members Thursday morning by club spokesman Chuck Pavloski.
The Elks is located at 100 Elks Club Road, outside Boalsburg.
“I know we are at a critical junction in our lodge,” Pavloski wrote. “We are about to embark on a new era with respect to our clubhouse and golf course and I’m sure there is much uncertainty in your minds with where things are headed.”
