U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak, the state’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate this year, is scheduled to visit the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair on Thursday.
Sestak, of Delaware County, is expected to be on the fairgrounds at 1 p.m. for the annual Grange Fair parade, according to an announcement from the county Democratic organization.
Sestak is facing Republican nominee Pat Toomey in the Nov. 2 general election. Toomey visited the fair last week for about 30 minutes, the Centre Daily Times reported.
A variety of more local candidates from both major political parties is expected to join in the Thursday parade, as well.
The fairgrounds are located off of state Route 45 in Centre Hall.
