Rose Bowl Ticket Sales Announced

With the Rose Bowl venue just 25 minutes from USC’s campus, Penn State vs. USC might feel like a Trojan home game. However, as the Nittany faithful proved this weekend, Penn State fans are willing to go the distance to support their Lions. While Pasadena is much farther from Pennsylvania than Indianapolis, Nittany Lion fans have historically traveled well to bowl games, and many are likely to make the trek to see Penn State play the Trojans in “The Grandaddy of Them All” on Jan. 2.

Penn State’s ticket allotment will go on sale incrementally throughout this week. Before Penn State even knew which bowl it would play in, the ticket sales schedule was announced on GoPSUsports.com. Tickets reserved for students will be available online to Student Nittany Lion Club members at 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. All students will be able to purchase tickets in person at the Bryce Jordan Center at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Nittany Lion Club members have had access to an online pre-sale since the Lions’ destination was announced on Sunday afternoon. Alumni Association Members’ online pre-sale will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The general public will be able to purchase tickets as of Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Because the bowl had yet to be announced when the information was released, prices have not yet been made public. This story will be updated once more information is available.
