A Penn State student will be cited for disorderly conduct after a playful Roman-candle fight early Thursday, State College police said.
It happened shortly before 2 a.m. on the 700 block of East Beaver Avenue, according to a police report. Police said a group of friends was play-fighting with the explosives outdoors when a patrol officer noticed them.
No injuries were reported.
Among other incidents police noted Thursday:
- An indecent-exposure incident was reported to have happened at the local Days Inn, 240 S. Pugh St. A man allegedly exposed himself to a woman there in November, according to a report that police received Wednesday. Police said the matter remains under investigation.
- A man suffered a possible broken nose when he tried to break up a fight early Wednesday in Nicholas Tower, 301 S. Pugh St., police said. The offender has not been identified, according to a police report.
- A pedestrian on the 500 block of East Calder Way was struck by a vehicle shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, police said. The vehicle’s driver had been attempting to make a U-turn, according to a police report. Police said the pedestrian reported leg pain and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.
